It's 1876 and Josiah Hale, the richest man on the Comstock, has been found dead in his suite. Everyone in the building is a suspect — including you.

A week before you arrive, your character dossier lands in your inbox: who you are, what you want, and the one secret you must never admit. Arrive Friday for the welcome reception. The body turns up before dessert. Solve it by Sunday brunch.

The cast stays in character all weekend, the clues spill out onto C Street, and the whole hotel becomes the scene of the crime. Play as hard as you like — or just watch it unfold with a drink in hand.

The Weekend

  • —Two nights, one mystery, a hotel full of suspects

How the weekend unfolds.

Friday

  1. Check in

Your room key, a printed copy of your dossier, and a sealed envelope you shouldn’t open yet.

  2. Welcome reception

Saturday

  1. Breakfast & the inquest

The sheriff questions the household. Alibis are offered. Some of them are even true.

  2. The trail goes cold — explore

Free afternoon in Virginia City. Walk C Street, ride the V&T, or corner a suspect at the bar.

  3. Period dinner in the Virginia Room

Three courses, 1870s dress encouraged. A new clue arrives with every course.

Sunday

  1. Final accusations over brunch

Name your suspect, your motive, and your proof.

  2. The reveal & awards
